Jeff MICHAEL Joined USAF a week after graduation with a few other Bomber boys. Served 7 years in Libya, Greenland and Japan. Participated in the 1967 Arab-Isreali war. Became broadcaster and interviewed numerous folks like Neil Armstrong. Was the club DJ for breaks in the Ike and Tina Turner Review. Attended the Olympics in Sapporo, Japan. Returned home to Boulder, CO and continued working radio, clubs and live events.
David MILLER My time at WSU was interrupted by serving in the U. S. Navy from April 1968 to April 1971. I worked in electronic maintenance for RVAW110 (the Navy’s version of the AWACs, radar early warning) in San Diego, VF21 (Phantom Fighters) in Miramar, ( San Diego) and aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ranger CVA-61 for two tours off Vietnam. Last rating, Petty Officer 2nd Class.

Bill SCOTT (RIP) Bill served in the U. S. Army from 1966 to 1969 and was awarded an Air Medal. His last rank was Specialist 4 in the Transportation Corp as a 67A-Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice. His primary unit was the 1968-1969, 67A, 269th Aviation Battalion. He passed away in Hua Nghia, S. Vietnam at the age of 22 on February 21, 1969, in a non-hostile helicopter crash near the Go De Hau Bridge because of pitch change link failure, and the M/R came through the cockpit which severed the tailboom at 1000'.

Steve UPSON U. S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant. I was on active duty from June 1965 (one week after graduation) through early December 1968. All USAF personnel received basic training while stationed at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. I then was stationed at Amarillo AFB in Amarillo, TX for technical training, and reassigned to HQ, Tactical Air Command at Langley AFB, VA where I spent the remainder of my active tour. Full six-year enlistment ended after another two and a half years in the USAF Reserves.
Ken VALDEZ U. S. Army AIT training at Fort Eustis, Virginia! Marine Hull Repairman! Went to Vietnam in 1967 till 1968. Was on a Floating Machine Shop in CamRanh Bay! We repaired vessels of all types in the Water! Back from Vietnam went to Fort Eustis as an Instructor!
