Steve Duve, age 40, died in Spokane on Thursday, September 1, 1988.

He was born in Longview and lived in Richland from 1962 until 1966.

Steve graduated with the Class of 1965 from Richland's Columbia High School.

He enlisted in the U. S. Army on November 15, 1967 and was discharged on June 19, 1969.

He worked in construction.

Arrangements were made in Spokane.

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Gen Duve of Richland; son, Jered Duve of Reno; brothers, Jerry Duve ('68) of Richland and Jeff Duve ('72) of St. Petersburg, FL; dear friend, Rosemary Peterson at home.

Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Matt Duve ('76 honorary), who passed away at the age of 16 on August 3, 1974.

Memorial Funeral Services will be September 6, 1988 at the Chapel of Flowers, Riplinger Funeral Home at 4305 N. Division in Spokane. Officiating will be John Hickman, Minister. Cremation preceded.

NOTE:

His father died at the age of 76 in Yuma, AZ on March 13, 2000.

His mother died at the age of 74 in Yuma, AZ on June 2, 2004.

His brother, Jeff Duve ('72), passed away at the age of 53 in Dothan, AL on June 28, 2006.
