Barb, 56, died in Holy Family Hospital in Spokane on November 9, 2003, where she worked for 34 years as an R.N. She was born February 6, 1947 in Richland where she was raised. Her parents were Ray and Bernice Hosack.

She attended Jason Lee Elementary School, Christ the King School, Chief Jo Junior High School and graduated with the Class of 1965 from Richland's Columbia High School. Barb took nurse's training at St. Elizabeth's in Yakima.

Mrs. Busch was a registered nurse at Holy Family Hospital for many years and was an active member of "Take Off Pounds Sensibly". She served as an Army nurse in the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1970.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ray Hosack.

Survivors include: her mother, Bernice Hosack of Richland; her daughter, Linda (Robert) Beer; her precious grandson, Zachary Tyler Beer; her sister, Laura Hosack Coombe ('70); four brothers: Charles Hosack ('66), James Hosack ('71), Richard Hosack and Daniel Hosack.

Funeral services with full military honors were held at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home in Spokane.
