Roger passed away July 18, 2007 at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland. He was born May 24, 1947 at Kadlec Hospital to D. Rex and Ardella Peart.

He was a resident of the Tri-Cities for all of his 60 years and worked as a senior purchasing agent for Exxon/Ariva. He graduated with the Class of 1965 from Richland's Columbia High School.

Roger was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U. S. Army. He loved fishing, being on the river and his grandson, Dylan.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Linda McLaughlin Peart ('66); son, Ryan Peart; son, Scott Peart (Erin); grandson, Dylan Peart; brother, Bruce Peart ('61) (Jeri); nephew, Christian Peart; niece, Kim Dorman (Rob); grandnieces and grandnephew Rachel, Arielle and Mitchell; mother-in-law, Dorothy McLaughlin; special friends, Shannon Smith, Dwayne Schmitt and Chris Stephenson.

Preceding Roger in death are his parents, D. Rex and Ardella Peart.

Funeral services were held at 1pm on Monday, July 23, 2007 at Einan’s Funeral Home. Interment followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
