Robert Dean "Bob" Gaines was born in Richland to Ralph and Jean Gaines on December 6, 1946. He passed away at the age of 78 in Richland on February 16, 2025.

Bob was a lifelong Tri-Cities resident where he graduated from Richland's Columbia High School with the Class of 1965.

He was a retired government contractor.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Jean Gaines; his twin brother, Bill Gaines ('65); along with his older brother, Ron Gaines ('62).

Einan's at Sunset in Richland is in charge of the arrangements.
