Bertha Kay Fehrenbacker Schindler, 20, former resident of Richland, died July 28, 1968 after a sudden illness in San Jose, CA.

She was born December 9, 1947 in Richland.

Mrs. Schindler graduated from Richland's Columbia High School in 1965 and attended Columbia Basin College and San Jose State College. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her husband, Wolfgang; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo F. Fehrenbacker; brothers: Gerald ('62), Leo and Douglas ('68); and sisters: Mrs. Max {Nita} Burrap ('56), Mrs. Ray {Francis} Durham ('59) and Jean Ann Fehrenbacker ('67).

Services were at Dabling and Fisher Garden Ghapel in San Jose, CA. Burial was in Salt Lake City, UT.
