Fellow Classmates, Honorary Members, Friends and Guests of the Richland (Columbia) High School Class of 1965 ~
This is your invitation to join us in celebrating our milestone 75th birthday/and 57-year class reunion as a group event (#55-year reunion postponed from 2020), although we won't be able to include wading in the pool at Howard Amon/Riverside Park where many of our birthday parties were held during our youth!!
This party event for celebration of our 75th birthdays during 2021/2022 will be held on September 16-18, 2022 (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) at various locations including the host hotel, Holiday Inn Richland on the River in Richland, WA
(formerly the Hanford House-Red Lion).
We have a block of rooms on hold at the Holiday Inn Richland on the River and have received a "special senior citizen rate" for our age group of $120 + taxes and tourism fees for 1 King or 2 Queens. Use the code "RCR" when making your room reservation in order to receive the "special senior citizen rate". The hotel has undergone complete renovation so is looking great! Call the hotel directly and request the RHS Class of '65 rate.

Friday Night social - Holiday Inn Richland on the River - Courtyard area (6:00 PM)
Meet and greet fellow classmates and exchange Happy Birthday wishes.
Taco bar food with No Host cocktail bar for alcohol/beer/wine.
Saturday morning (9:00 AM)
Wash down your morning meds with spudnuts from the Spudnut shop - coffee - juice - water - at the Paul Beardsley Gazebo Area of Jefferson Park, across the street from the Uptown Shopping area on George Washington Way and Symons. This gazebo is named for the father of our fellow classmate, Nancy BEARDSLEY Lucke. Paul was a community leader in the early days of the City of Richland!
Later Saturday morning (time to be determined) - TENTATIVELY!!
We hope to be able to have a "Pre-Manhattan Project" bus tour of the White Bluffs/Hanford/Richland townships located 25 miles north of current Richland. This is a first time offering of a brand-new bus tour of this historical area along the Columbia River prior to the Hanford project buildup (this does not include the B-Reactor National Park tour that was offered during our 50-year class reunion). The old bank building has been restored to historical museum specifications. View where residents were forced from their homes and farms to make way for the Manhattan Project construction sites in 1943!

Saturday Evening Dinner (Social at 6:00 PM - Dinner at 7:00 PM) - Holiday Inn Richland on the River Hotel
"Sit Down" table service meal - choice of tri-tip beef, grilled salmon or vegetarian with chosen starch, salad, beverage and dessert - and Birthday cake and ice cream.
Music from the 50's and 60's - get up and dance if you dare!!
Sunday morning - (11:00 AM until ?) Farewell (until our 60-year class reunion in 2025).

Costs for this memorable weekend are as follows:
$75 per person for entire weekend - Friday and Saturday
$25 per person - Friday Only
$50 per person - Saturday Only
