Mike Toner, age 38, a former Richland resident died following a heart attack on January 26, 1985 in Columbus, MS where he had lived the past three years.

He was born in Richland on November 24, 1946 and was a region controller for Weyerhaeuser Company. Mike attended Christ the King School, Carmichael Junior High School and graduated with the Class of 1965 from Richland's Columbia High School.

Survivors include his wife, Joy Burke Toner ('65); son, Jim Toner; parents, Herman and Eileen Toner; sisters, Sharon Toner Lambert ('58) and Margaret Toner Peterson ('61).

Rosary and services were held at Einan's Funeral Home. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
