DAVID RICHARD "DAVE" BYERS ~ Class of 1965
April 5, 1947 - October 15, 2023

Dave Byers

On October 15, 2023, a very special man, husband and father left this world to be with God; his mother, Donna M. Hoffnagle Byers; his father, Clifford A. Byers; and his brother, Gordon "Corky" Byers. David R. Byers will be greatly missed. Most people knew him by his smile, kind heart and wonderful sense of humor.

Dave was a bright shining light in many people’s lives, especially those that survive him: his wife, Delia L. Byers; children: Jon Byers, Dawn (Aaron) Graf, Brandon Fisher, Samantha Fisher, Dallas (Ben) Watkins and Kolte (Brittany) Byers; several grandchildren: Tyler Byers, Alyssa Byers, Braydon Graf, Colby Graf, Elijah Graf and Franchesca Graf, Deklan Fisher, Kyla Byers and Benjamin Byers; great grandson, Ezra Byers; and his brother, Bob (Cin) Byers.

Dave was born on April 5, 1947, in Pendleton, OR. He lived most of his life in the Tri-Cities and worked on the Hanford site.

He attended schools in Richland including Carmichael Junior High School and Richland's Columbia High School, graduating with the Class of 1965.

Dave touched many peoples’ lives with his smile and drawing personality. Dave loved to fish, especially salmon, hunt and spend time with his family which he loved above everything, except God.

Dave passed away in Kennewick at the age of 76 years young.

Celebration of Life Services rejoicing in the life and love that this special man spread will be on March 1, 2024. An updated notice will be sent to give location and details.

We would appreciate anyone for sharing any funny or silly memories you may have of Dave by writing them up and sending them to his wife at fishnbudds@gmail.com or bringing them to the Celebration of Life ceremony, so they can be added to a special memorial book for Dave’s family to enjoy.
