Elizabeth Vivian "Liz" Bennett McCaleb Sroufe was born on May 23, 1947 in Richland to Harry Edward Susman Bennett and Clara Kathryn "Kate" Bates Bennett.

Liz graduated with the Class of 1965 from Richland's Columbia High School.

She married Michael Paul McCaleb on October 19, 1977. To this union two children were born. Liz and Michael were divorced on June 12, 1990 after 12 years of marriage.

Liz then remarried.

She passed away at the age of 73 in North Bend, WA on May 15, 2021.

Liz is preceded in death by her brother, John Edward Bennett, who was born October 24, 1938 and passed away in Dallas, TX on November 6, 1938; by her father, Harry, who passed away at the age of 82 in Seattle on November 15, 1996; by her mother, Kate, who passed away at the age of 74 in Freeland, WA on January 10, 1993; by her sister, Andrea "Ann" Bennett Miller ('58) , who passed away on December 24, 2015; and by her ex-husband, Michael Paul McCaleb, who passed away on March 16, 2015 in Cochise, AZ at the age of 69.

Among her survivors are her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Bennett Sams ('69) and Mike Sams ('65).
